Your privacy matters. We never sell your data, and we share it only with the providers that operate the app for us.
What we collect
Account info: your email address, and — if you sign in with a third-party account — the name and profile photo that account gives us.
Your speedruns: the before/after photos you capture, your scores, and your run history.
A fingerprint of each graded photo: a short numeric summary of the picture, used to tell whether the same photo has been submitted twice. It cannot be turned back into the picture.
Diagnostics: app version, device model and operating system, time zone, and the screens you visited most recently. These are attached to crash reports, and to any feedback you choose to send.
Anonymous usage analytics to understand how the app is used.
A notification token for your device, if you turn notifications on.
How we use it
To run your account, store your runs, and show you your progress.
To power AI analysis of your photos so we can score and plan each cleanup. Your photos are sent to the third-party vision AI providers we use, solely to produce that score and task plan.
To check that a photo shows a space to clean, and to notice when the same photo is submitted more than once.
To send the notifications you asked for, and to deliver feedback you send us.
To keep the app working, diagnose crashes, and improve it over time.
Sharing with your crew
If you join a crew, the other members can see your display name and profile photo, the runs you complete for that crew, and whose turn it is. If you hand a run to a crewmate, its before photo goes with it: that run becomes theirs to finish, and they can see the photo.
What we don't do
We never sell your data.
We never share your photos or personal information for advertising, marketing, or profiling.
Apart from the AI providers that grade a run, and any crewmate you hand a run to, we share your photos with no one.
Your photos are stored privately, and nobody outside your crew can view them.
Storage
Your data is stored with our hosting provider using industry-standard security, encrypted in transit and at rest. The original full-resolution camera capture never leaves your device: the app uploads only a downscaled, compressed copy, and that copy is deleted 30 days after the run.
The photo fingerprint described above outlives the photo. It is kept after the picture is deleted, and after the run itself is deleted, because a check for reused photos that forgets what it has seen would not work.
Your choices
You can delete a run at any time, which deletes its photos with it. Settings also offers to delete all of your runs and photos at once. Turning notifications off stops us sending them.
